Meet the Photographer

Hey, I’m Don (he/him)

I’m a Houston-based photographer driven by creating meaningful, collaborative experiences. Every session is a chance to capture something genuine, and I’m thrilled to co-create images that help you see yourself in a new light.


I started with landscapes and architecture photography while traveling, drawn to the way mountains, structures, shadows, and time shaped a scene. Over time, I realized what I was chasing wasn’t just external, but rather it was the interplay of light and feeling. The same thing happened when I discovered Shibari (rope). I quickly realized that for me it wasn’t just about form or thecnique —it was about connection, tension, and trust.


Photography became my way to illuminate those moments:  it’s all about how light brings out vulnerability and strength.

I still remember capturing some of my ties spontaneously with just my phone—no studio, no plan, just presence. After one of those rope sessions, I innocently showed the person the pictures on my device. They cried and said, "Oh, I'm beautiful" .


In that moment, I understood it was never just about rope, light or technique. It was about someone seeing themselves as art, often for the first time. That reaction stayed with me and became the catalyst to expand beyond rope.


My mission became to create spaces where anyone—regardless of background or experience—could step into that same feeling of being seen.

As I shifted from places to people, my community became the catalyst of growth. Friends, partners, and collaborators showed me that photography isn’t just capturing an image—it’s witnessing someone’s truth. I learned how powerful it is to co-create with those who, like me, once felt they weren’t “art.” Every session, I am honored to hold space, letting people see themselves in a way that often surprises them. That trust has shaped my art more than anything else.

There was a symbiosis that changed me: as the people I worked with began to see themselves as art, I started to recognize my own artistry reflected back through their experience.


Their awe and empowerment became a mirror, teaching me that if what I was creating made others feel like art, then there was no other choice but to believe I was an artist too.


Growing alongside my models and collaborators has been a transformative evolution—one I feel deeply grateful to be part of, and honored to continue.
